This depends on your project & where you live. Finding the answers that pertain to your particular job are part of Steve's services, including permit & licensing applications, meeting with inspectors, & submitting plans & drawings.

What does PA HIC mean?

To you the customer it means accountability. A Pennsylvania Home Improvement Contractor is registered with & recognized by the State Attorney General's Office. If you have any issues with a PA HIC, you can report him/her & expect a fair resolution.

Are legitimate references available for Steve?

Yes. E-mail Steve using the Contact tab, & ask for customer references. You can even ask for references from customers with a project similar to yours. Also follow the link to our Facebook Fan Page.

Does Steve use subcontractors?

No. Unlike chain home improvement & contractor companies, we are a local, family run & owned business. Steve does the work from estimate to completion.

How can I get the most accurate estimate for my job?

Be as specific as you can about your vision for your project. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Most of all, be open to ideas based on Steve's experience. Skilled tradespeople can visualize details about a project that the rest of us don't see when we think about the finished product.

What kind of payment is expected and when?

It depends on your job. For quick repairs, payment upon completion. For larger remodels, a third to begin work, a third halfway through the project, & the final third upon completion.
